My Experience with Avon Extra Lasting Kajal Redesign:

Avon Extra Lasting Kajal Redesign comes in a sleek black encased wooden pencil packaging with the kajal pencil at one end and the smudging tool at the other end. Both ends have transparent caps for easy identification. The packaging looks quite nice and it looks more expensive by the look.

• The texture of this kajal is smooth but not too soft. It is decently pigmented. One would need to go over 2-3 times to get the pigmentation. It has a dry powdery finish instead of the slightly waxy, wet looking finish that most kajals have.
• The smudging tool on the other end is made of rubber and does the job of smudging fairly well without too much effort.
• Regarding wear time, it doesn’t last the entire day on my eyes. After about 5-6 hours of wear, it appears quite faded from the waterline. The good part is that it does not smudge or bleed.
• It didn’t sharpen so well and there was quite a bit of product wastage, I feel they should have used slightly better wood for the pencil so that it sharpens smoothly.

Tip: You can even use some black or brown eye shadow on top to make it more intense. It definitely acts as a base to the eye shadow as well. Personally I like this better as its easy and takes just about 2 minutes.
